Live journal has stoped being a way to express myself to my friends and others and has become the 3rd form of stalking people. Its not far behind my compulsive away message checking and my constant facebook presence.
I miss home. The way it used to be. I love how this weekend was so perfectly awful and perfectly wonderful at the same time. I missed rachel so much I cant even tell you. hanging out with my mom and her mom and her was perfect. everything i needed this weekend. seeing her and being able to just call her and be like "hey, can you come to jail with me?" was perfect. almost exactly how it used to be. she droped everything just to be the best supportive person ever. and just having her in the car made it so much easier. I cant explain it.
speaking of which. dont go to jail. ever. trust me. its horrible. He cried a lot. i havent seen him cry since... he was in 6th grade and i was in 4th. it was horrible. I wanted to reach out and hug him. and I couldnt. I wanted to reach out and slap him and tell him he did this to himself and hes an idiot. but i couldnt. I wanted to see my mom happy and laughing and not thinking about it. but i also wanted her to cry and scream and let it out.
Im happy. and im miserable. I feel selfish for being happy. I feel selfish when my parents are proud of me. my dad doesnt understand that im apart of this family, and it affects me too.
i miss home and but i know im gonna miss school more durring the summer.
i take that back, i dont miss home. I miss my friends, i miss maryanne and rachel and everyone!
i miss you too!!

So today, my chem professor took me aside after class and asked me why i laughed when he, in class, had asked if some of us had considered swiching our major from nursing to chemistry. I looked shocked and responded sheepishly with a "umm idk, guess i never really considered it." ..."well" he says " can i ask you why you want to be a nurse and not a doctor?" long story short, he offered me a scholarship and trips to special conferences if i would consider changing my major to pre-med chemistry. He went into detail about how i am "much much much much much" brighter in the subject than a student who 4 years ago did the same thing and just got accepted into Penn State medical school. weird! My dad was always telling me to do pre-med but i never really considered it, until now. its wierd. So what do you think? should i considered pre-med? i never even thought it was an option for me.

Purpose-less Entry about absolutly NOTHING!
Tonight i ventured out of my dorm to get some studying done in the Mahog room (for u non-shu-ers that is the room in which has nice comfy chairs and is dedicated to lovely dining and long nights of studying) well while in the mahog room i have accomplished nothing, thats right folks nothing. i have started 3 different papers and have left them all and admited defeat to cloning, generation gaps, and computers in classrooms. I then attempted to studying some human anatomy that didnt work out so well either. in the long run i really dont have anything due tomorrow but i feel unaccomplished all the same. In the room over the "outpost" "flik" (our dining services)turns into an after hours pub for upper classmen with IDs. Tonight is Senior night and a band entitled "FAKE ID" is playing (ironic huh?) they are quite loud but i dont mind knowing some of the songs lifts my spirts and makes me smile. I love my friends here, Katie is typing diligently next me as lauren listens to her Ipod and reads. Rob was sitting accross from me looking extremly frustrated with his bio-lab write up, he just went for help now a few mins ago. someone just yelled at a girl "shes got a hickey!!" and some one eles just yelled "okay children, lets use our indoor voices" haha goodtimes. oh yay rob has returned. my life is is quite interesting I am aware, thank you. Now i will return to my room in a few mins to read myself to sleep with human anatomy.
flash back to peer ed, and suicide skits as "FAKE ID" plays "... nothing i can do TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART" and i sing along, as my friends give me weird looks then join in and laugh....
ps it sometimes surprises me at how good I am at faking a smile

Does anyone eles feel like they are in limbo? Dont get me wrong Im really excited to go back to glastonbury for thanksgiving and see everyone but I just feel like its not really home anymore. Thing is my dorm isnt really my home either. I love everyone in glastonbury and I cant wait to see everyone :) :) I even love my family and cant wait to see them, but I can only take so much of them, sometimes the weekends that I come home end up being waaaaay too long in my house. I really need the break though, Im going crazy here with all the studying and the small messy room and the lack of alone time. dont get me wrong about here either though, I LOVE IT!!! SHU was definetly the best choice of school I could have ever picked. and i like my roommate and love my friends here. So i guess thats why i feel in limbo, i love it both places so when i go home i cant wait to come back here, and when im here i cant wait to get home and see everyone.

not to brag but this seriously is the best feeling in the world, to work so hard for something, to study for so long, and really really deserve the grade, and acctualy get it!!
I GOT A 95% ON MY HUMAN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY EXAM worth 25% of my grade and the class pretty much determains my entire life!!!!!

My dorm is starting to feel extreamly small! I feel like i dont have any room to myself. We moved the tv onto my desk so that we could play N64 and its kinda incroching on my space. It is also extreamly difficult to keep it clean and I'm gettting frustrated everytime I walk in here. I'm cleaning atleast once a day just to keep up with all the crap that gets thrown on the floor or put in the wrong place or whatever. My desk is covered in stuff sometimes. sometimes i dont even have space for my lap top and alot of the time i dont have space to spread out my books and study. Thats another thing my some of classes are rediculous im always studying (or should be). Dont get my wrong I love it here and wouldnt trade it for the world im just frustrated. Im excited to go home this weekend so i can see my mom. I havnt been feeling 100% well and even called my mom one night just to hear her voice, it made me feel better. I hope Im not getting too sick, hopefully im getting better and not worse. Life here in general is pretty good though. Rosaria (my room mate) and I have pretty opposit sceduals, she's got a lot of morning classes and most of mine are in the afternoon. And you would think that would be good cause then she would come back earlier on week nights but no...last night she came home at 3 then talked on her phone for another hour. (ive kept her up later than shes wanted to be up b4 too so i guess its pretty even) Im just venting about that too cause over all her and I get along really really well! She's super nice and we're ussualy pretty considerate of eachother. Our gossiping about the relationships on campus and talking about our own relationships (past and present) is a real comfort to have some one i can talk to. I should probally mention our third room mate, Pat. He's gonna read this so WHAT UP KID!?!?! lol. He pretty much has moved in to our room anytime we're here, and not sleeping. Hes super funny and great company. even though he's a pretensious music elitist ;).
I get to see RACHEL this weekend!!!!and MATTTTT!!!!!!!!!!! :) so thats exciting. and I think i did really well on my first two college quizes today! and uhhh I got back my english response and got a Check +++ (thats right 3 pluses!!! which is pretty much the best u can do) Over all GREAT times here at SHU.
ps. Im tentivly signed up for a sleep over next weekend to benifit the habitat for humanity walls we are building and sending to gulf states so if u want to sponser me and my sleeping in the mud leave me messages and send me money ;) oh LEave me msgs anyway even if u arent sending me money!

things you should know:
a. Community Connections was one of the most fun, sprititual, awesome, moving, increadble weeks of my life and I met some of the best ppl in the world there who I just know will be my friends for life.
b. College life is AWESOME!
c. This year is going to be a TON of work for school but is totally going to be worth it
d. Matt is an amazing boyfriend, and you all should be jelous ;)
e. The hebron fair is awesome cause it kicks off the best season ever...FALL but was kinda disapointing this year
f. Red eye is not an awesome movie, but not bad either
g. This weekend was great
h. Pat looks hilarious with his hair straightend
I. im really bad at updating this thing but I miss you all and want to talk to you so leave me msgs and we'll talk a ton and Ill tell you everything thats been going on if u tell me everything thats been going on with you.

I think I'm excited. I'm not really sure though. I think Im so worried I'm forgetting something that I havnt had a chance to really let it soak in that I'm going to college! what about you?
